Welcome!
Thank you to Sisters Brittany Holt and Brittany Greene! What a wonderful activity she planned to share with all of our Activity Day Girls ages 8-11! She can be seen here Welcoming each of the girls out! Speaking of which...over 100 girls were in attendance! Each ward was represented in our Stake! Thank you for participating in a wonderful event!
Ordinary Mary's Extraordinary Deed!
Celebrating Beauty!
Sisters Jennie Ogden (West Oquendo Ward), Brittany Hunt (Coronado Ward), Holly Croft (Painted Mountain), and Carrie Anne Berges (Mountain's Edge)were so wonderful with the girls. Teaching them how to do different things with their hair...things that they could do on their own as they were doing it to each other's hair. Mini class in hair was just what they enjoyed! Teaching the importance of looking your best as we always are representing the Lord. Dressing modestly is also important. Check out the rave reviews from their smiles! Thank you to these sweet sisters who always are willing to share their talents and impart wisdom!
Celebrating Dance!
Suzanne Eitelberg who is a former dancer in some very fun local and international shows such as Siegfried & Roy, took time out of her day to teach these young sisters some dance moves. Thank you to Suzanne...she did get them out there moving with smiles and laughter in their hearts! Gotta move it, move!!!

Celebrating Service!
Sister Allison Baker and Sister Christa Watson both of Durango Heights Ward made beautiful quilts for the girls to tie in service as the quilts were given to those in need! The girls had some instruction to tie and knot the quilt...lots of needle threading and plotting where to put the need next, but they did a great service! A few did the work "under cover."
Celebrating Testimony!
Sister Carey Roper enlightened everyone with her sweet testimony and helped the girls to know of their own realized truths. These young girls realized that indeed, they have a friend, a comforter to be found in need, the Holy Ghost. Great stories and examples...to learn from! Don't worry Sister Roper, your stories about your family are safe with us!
